 ealed Carry event. Last year the state legislature passed a new law that r
 equires all new CC applicant to take an 8-hour class which covers the Stat
 e Standards for Concealed Carrying in Colorado. This is an 8-hour curricul
 um as designated by the State of Colorado. This class will be covering bas
 ics of Firearm Safety\, Storage\, Colorado Laws\, and many more subjects a
 s required under the new law. There will be a mandatory written exam after
  the classroom portion and then there will be Live Fire Qualifications\, a
 nd you must meet the minimum standard in both in order to receive your cla
 ss completion certificate in order to apply for you permit through your Co
 unty Sherriff. Please make sure to bring your Firearm\, 100 rounds of ammu
 nition\, eye and ear protection. Dress appropriately for outdoor weather d
 uring the range time. Check the weather the morning of class.
